Small Barn Conversion : New Project

We’ll be updating this post as work on this small barn conversion project develops.

First site visit today to kick off a really exciting new project in the beautiful rural Cotswold village of Compton Abdale. We’ll be completely renovating the existing barn, replacing the roof and ultimately converting it into a single storey 3 bedroom home.

The grounds will need to be cleared initially and we’ll soon be starting work on modifying the existing foundations to be able to support the modifications required to the structure of this small barn conversion in order to turn it into a 3 bedroom home.

As you can see from these images the barn is in a pretty sorry state, we always aim to keep as much of the existing structure as is viable. This project will require extensive renovation and structural work including a completely new roof.
